Learn About Maestro IQ

THE FOUNDRY MODEL IS BROKEN.

We built a better one.

Tango Robotics exists because the way industry manufactures and repairs critical metal parts has not kept pace with operational demands. Long lead times, excessive material waste, and dependence on external suppliers create systemic risk — for shipyards, defense contractors, and industrial manufacturers alike.

Maestro IQ is our answer: proprietary code that brings additive manufacturing to where it is most needed — on your site, at industrial scale, under your control.

At a moment when domestic manufacturing capability has never mattered more, Tango Robotics is helping bring manufacturing back to the United States of America by making critical parts production more responsive, resilient, and closer to where it is needed most.

Traditional manufacturing
can’t keep up.

12–18 month lead times for custom or obsolete castings.

Up to 90% material loss through subtractive machining.

Critical dependence on external foundries and fragile global supply chains.

A shrinking skilled workforce that makes every delay harder to absorb.

THE RESULT:

Unscheduled downtime.
Rising costs.
Lost operational control.

Introducing MAESTRO IQ

Produce critical metal parts —
on-site, on demand.

Maestro IQ is Tango Robotics' proprietary code — the intelligence layer that turns robotic hardware into a high-integrity, on-demand manufacturing cell.

Using Gas Metal Arc Directed Energy Deposition (GMA-DED), Maestro IQ produces near-net-shape metal components and flags repairs for large-scale parts with speed, precision, and full digital traceability.

No foundry.
No extended lead times.
No loss of control.

FAST

Lead times reduced from months to weeks or days.

EFFICIENT

Near-net-shape deposition cuts material waste by up to 80%.

TRACEABLE

Every build produces a complete Digital Data Certificate — weld parameters, thermal history, and anomaly records from first arc to final layer.

YOURS

Production on your site, in your facility, under your oversight.

HOW IT WORKS

The intelligence that drives the build.

  • Our proprietary code synchronizes the robotic arm with advanced positioner systems — maintaining optimal weld-pool gravity and torch access at every stage of the build, on even the most complex geometries.

  • Maestro IQ monitors every layer in real time. When a thermal or geometric deviation is detected, it flags the anomaly immediately — providing the data required for expert Go/No-Go decisions before an error compounds. We call this Informed Integrity: nothing is hidden, everything is documented.

  • Every build generates a proprietary Data Acquisition System (DAS) log — a verifiable audit trail of weld parameters, thermal history, and flagged events. Engineered to support DNV, Lloyd's, and AS9100D compliance requirements.

Two paths to deployment:

Turnkey Cell (Greenfield)
Full-stack solution: hardware, software, feedstock, installation, and training.

INDUSTRIES

Compliance for High-Stakes Environments.

Your Standards. Our Data.

We recognize that high-performance components must often satisfy custom, internal, or highly specialized third-party audit requirements. Our logic is designed to move beyond generic accreditations, providing the raw data and process control necessary to meet your specific quality benchmarks, specifically with generating your additive manufacturing procedure specifications (AMPS forms).
